Bay 01 How it works

Keep using Command-Tab exactly as you do now. DOCKERDRE shows the windows for each app as you move through them.

Nothing new to learn

Press Command-Tab, move through your apps, and release Command to switch, the way you always have. DOCKERDRE listens; it never replaces or delays Apple's switcher.

Every window at a glance

The highlighted app's windows appear above the strip at once, with minimized and other-display windows marked as such.

Go straight to the right one

Click the window you want and it comes to the front, even if it was minimized or on another display. VoiceOver gets the same action by name.

Ready before you look, never on disk

A still of each window is taken as you switch apps and while a preview is open, kept in memory for a few minutes so the next glance is instant, and refreshed behind the picture. Nothing is written to disk.

Pause on an icon. See its windows.

Rest the pointer on an app in the Dock and its open windows rise above it. How long the pause is, from a tenth of a second to a full one, is yours to set.

Your windows stay on your Mac.

Previews are never uploaded, saved, or used to track what you do.

No screen recordingStill pictures of windows, taken as you switch apps and while a preview is open. The screen is never recorded.

Memory onlyWindow images are held in memory for a few minutes at most and then dropped. Nothing is written to disk.
